You may create a note through dictation, via practice templates, or many combinations of dictation and automatic note generation. The Note creation system within eMedRec is designed specifically for the busy medical office. This includes the ability to utilize embedded Dragon Voice Recognition within the note framework. eMedRec note creation utilizes free flowing data for HPI, Plan, and Impression while still taking advantage of the repetitive nature of medicine for follow up visits, ROS, Physical Exam, History, Meds, etc. that are automatically generated in the note. The system provides for dictation markers for complex cases and the ability to workflow the note to a dictation queue for later dictation as needed.
